EXCITEMENT IS EVERYWHERE

CHANGING THE LIVES OF THE DISADVANTAGED
CHILRDREN
ONE LIFE AT A TIME

VCF commits to assist

Founded in 2000, Victorian Children Foundation (VCF) was entrusted with the mission to promote and enhance quality of life of the underprivileged children of the Republic of Armenia and underprivileged children of Armenian descent in Lebanon, Syria and Israel through educational, spiritual and physical programs.

VCF’s first concern is the life of the disadvantaged children: Training them with relevant skills in industries which will promote and enhance quality of their lives.

Another important mandate is to assist the Armenian Church which through centuries has been the beacon of Christian faith and hope.

The following projects describe the above life changing initiatives that the VCF has set thus far.

Project # 1 – International Hospitality Academy at Youth Development Center in Gyumri

In October of 2006, VCF started its hospitality program in Gyumri, Armenia by enrolling over 20 underprivileged children from the streets of Armenia, from various villages, unattended homes and orphanages.

The program emphasized professionalism, developed students' practical and customer service skills and also offered a solid foundation in administrative studies. The program was enhanced by 1440 hours of internship. The campus educated students in the context of a complete commitment to their culture, community services and historic Christian Faith.

Today, the program is recognized as the facto standards in Armenia and the graduates are all gainfully employed. Furthermore two of the graduates have been accepted with full scholarship at Ecole Culunaire in Paris who upon their completion of the program will return as instructors to the center.

In addition to the hospitality, the Center has also one year training that grounds disadvantaged Armenian youth in one of the three programs: graphic arts, electrical technology and cosmetology.
