In October of 2006, VCF started its hospitality program in Gyumri, Armenia by enrolling over 20 underprivileged children from the streets of Armenia, from various villages, unattended homes and orphanages.
The program emphasized professionalism, developed students' practical and customer service skills and also offered a solid foundation in administrative studies. The program was enhanced by 1440 hours of internship. The campus educated students in the context of a complete commitment to their culture, community services and historic Christian Faith.
Today, the program is recognized as the facto standards in Armenia and the graduates are all gainfully employed. Furthermore two of the graduates have been accepted with full scholarship at Ecole Culunaire in Paris who upon their completion of the program will return as instructors to the center.
In addition to the hospitality, the Center has also one year training that grounds disadvantaged Armenian youth in one of the three programs: graphic arts, electrical technology and cosmetology.
